Waaah! (Cue the Sam Cooke track) Ok, so the gradual transition into the toddler's room at daycare hasn't been going so smoothly for Eli's week of half-days. The women in the crawler's room just love him, so it is hard for him to get used to new daycare workers in the afternoons. Additionally, he hasn't enjoyed his afternoon walks as much with the big kids. The infants and crawlers go for walks in the big 10-baby stroller buggies, but the toddlers walk together in a line, all attached to a rope in a sort of toddler chain gang. He has to keep up with the older walkers lest he be trampled by a dozen Stride-Rites.
But, he does get to do an art project every day in the toddler room, which is pretty cute. Yesterday he glued together a construction-paper spider, and today he used crayons to color in a bird. The Fridge Gallery is currently building its first exhibit-- "Eli: the early works in Crayola"

I am shocked and dismayed that you permit such abusive behavior of enforced conformism. How do you expect to see him achieve the highest levels of intellectual endeavor...given his parentage we expect to be the highest of heights...when he is forced to tow the line like this?
