Not sure how well you can see the contrast, but Eli's hand seems to be healing - just a streak across his hand and another across his fingers. No blisters, luckily, and it hasn't seemed to bother him. The women at daycare were concerned when I showed it to them on Monday. They gave him lots of "Aww, poor baby" and plenty of booboo kisses. Eli tried to be all tough about it like he didn't know what the fuss was about.Funny Eli story of the day: Justin was going to go out for a run with Eli in the jogging stroller after work. He had Eli in the foyer while he got the stroller set up. Justin had been drinking a glass of water, which he left on the stairs. Eli climbed up the stairs, and reached for the glass. Before Justin could reach him and avert a wet, glass-shattering disaster, Eli picked up the glass, took a drink (without spilling), set the glass back down, and continued climbing up the stairs.
Guess he's ready to move on from the sippy cup.

That cup story is pretty funny. Read about your social schedule challenges on his update--we are definitely feeling that. I guess the solution is to get together at 4pm with those with kids--but we haven't even gotten there yet.
