Eli had his very first haircut today (yes, first ever, at over 2 years old). We went to his friend Eddie's barber, who is very good at cutting uncooperative little boys' hair. Eli cried for most of it, although after the haircut was done (very quickly), Eli didn't want to get out of the nifty race car chair.
He looks so different! It had gotten rather long on the sides and back, and started to look like a baby mullet. Barber Pat even gave us a "First Haircut" certificate, suitable for framing, and an envelope with Eli's locks. All day Eli has been saying "Eli haircut/sit car/itchies" (in reference to the little bits of hair itching him under his collar).

Congrats to all 3 of you for braving it. Great looking haircut. Take our advice, call ahead for future haircuts to make sure Pat is available--if he didn't tell you, he lives to cut little kids hair--and he's good at it.
