No, not a typo, just quoting Eli upon our return home Monday. Apparently the T subway and fast slide in the Tadpole Playground in Boston Common were the parts he missed most.
We all took the Amtrak (by way of a metrobus and 2 metro trains at 6am) to Boston for the holiday weekend. We did a lot of the touristy stuff: Boston Harbor Cruise, Aquarium, Children's Museum, JFK Library, Swan Boats, Quincy Market and Fanieul Hall, ate at Union Oyster House and Legal, and discovered yummy Finagle Bagels.
Two days before we left I was home from work sick with a bad cold, then the afternoon before we left I took Lena to the ped for her check-up and found out her cold had turned into an ear infection. Lena was definitely not feeling great on the trip, but she was a trooper and took lots of naps in the stroller or on my back.
