Eli at the Dentist

After the tearful first haircut experience and almost nightly battles with toothbrushing, we weren't too confident all parties would emerge unscathed from Eli's first visit to the dentist. Surprisingly it went quite well. The office was very kid-friendly, with a fishtank and toybox in the waiting room, toys all around the exam chairs, and an open floor plan so Eli could watch the other kids getting checked out. The hygenist introduced him to all the equipment and let him play with them first, and she was actually able to clean all of his teeth. The dentist checked his teeth and he let her count them. Official tooth count is 19 and one last molar on the way.
Baby #2 had her second sonogram last week. This time she was ready for the photo-op and the doctor had no problem seeing everything, and all looked fine. She was 1lb 3oz as of last week (24 weeks along). She's gotten much more active in the past couple weeks, so she could turn out as busy as her brother.
Election day is one week from tomorrow!
